Contrast between Boys and Girls.
Thorne (1993) found a number of differences in the way boys and girls interact with their same-sex friends. First girls engage in more cooperative kinds of play, for example, jumping rope or practicing dance steps together. Girls also tend to say “Let’s go…” or “Why don’t we…” to generate this play. Second, girls like to spend time with only one or two best friends. Third, when there is a conflict among friends, girls talk about the undesirable behavior of playmates behind their backs rather than to their faces. As a result, a conflict between girls can take a long time to be resolved. In contrast, boys engage in competitive rough-threats (for example “I’m gonna punch you”). These kinds of threats are sometimes made in anger but they are also made in the spirit of play. Boys tend to hang around with a larger group of casual friends. Boys, on the other hand, are more direct and confrontational, so their conflicts are often over quite quickly.
In El Salvador teenage boys and girls have very different social lives.
In El Salvador boys and girls develop different behavior. We start seeing this since we are newborns the difference between boys and girls, Baby boys tend to use blue or yellow and girls tend to use pink. Both sexes are treated differently by their parents at home. For example, parents talk to boys in a direct language. On the other hand, parents talk to their girls politely and sweetly. In my country boys tend to do heavy work and girls do easy work. Finally boys can go to parties without curfew. Girls can also attend parties but they have to come back before 11pm because it is more dangerous for girls to be out at night.
“My Classmates’ Goal”
Two of my closest classmates are Jacoba Garcia and Erika Chavez. Both of them have different major goals. Jacoba’s (Jacobita’s) major is to become a nursing. She decided to become a nurse because she wants to help people with disabilities and also because she has had this feeling since she was a little girl. To achieve her goals she will do her best in College to get the maximum score. On the other hand, Erika (kika) wants to study tourism because she likes to travel. She wants to learn more about new cultures, different languages. Erika has some experiences in the studies of tourism because she studied it in El Salvador. As my other classmate’s goal is that she also wants to have excellent scores in college.

This story is made by David Guterson. This film is about an imposible love that never was realized. This story is based on history fiction whifch recounts a story about two young characters were Hatsue, a Japanese woman, and Ismael, a white man.<3
Japanese were evacuated to concentration camps in which they were living worst then animals. Hatsue and Ismael were so in love that they wanted to scape and get married although, Hatsue rejected this proposal because it was too much for her,<3
She couldn’t leave her family. As the time passed, Hatsue got married but Ismael never stopped loving her. Hatsue came back to her original house with her family. However, her husband was accused of committing murder. By this time, she was so in love with her husband Katzue that she didn’t wanted him to go to jail. Hatzue loved her so much that he decided to help her with some evidence he found about the accident of Carl. The jury found him not guilty after Ismael said all he knew. Hatzue love was so big that he declared all he knew about Carl’s death.<3
This conflict didn’t just happen to them. For instance it also happened to Henry and Keiko. They are two young characters from the novel of Hotel On the corner of bitter and sweet. They also faced the same circumstances because Henry is Chinese and Keiko is Japanese. <3
I wanted Hatzue and Ismael to end out together because there is nothing like first love. <3
